The Wives

Last night’s third eyeball / going away party for Apols was a success. We talked about so many things that the get together lasted for more than five hours. I was prepared to talk about pre-schools, how to save tips and even career planning but I didn’t expect that everyone will be so open talking about current and past relationships! After everyone has shared all their experiences (sad and romantic), I learned that different couples have different romantic ideas. Some of us show love through romantic gestures like gifts and dates while some do it by serving their other halves and making sure that all their needs are met. We also tried to out-do each other on how lucky we are with our husbands. From husbands who come home early everyday to those who send I miss you text messages even if they’ve been married for five years. Of course, no one will win because to our eyes, our husband is the perfect one. There was actually one moment when I almost laugh because I felt like a high school girl gossiping about my crush. It really was a great night and I know we would’ve discussed more if we didn’t notice that it’s already past ten in the evening.
