I need sun and water

I seriously need to hit the beach. I keep on seeing photos of beaches in Boracay, Palawan, and Phuket on some of the blogs that I visit and can’t help but become green with envy. I’m sitting here in front of the computer while almost everyone I know is having a tan, paddling on the pool or spending their weekends in a hammock, drinking yummy cocktails with small umbrellas in it. If only we’re not saving for something big, then I wouldn’t think twice in booking for a quick Bora trip. And even if we’re not trying to save, Sandy’s last bout of colds lasted for more than one week that I’m not taking chances. She gets colds almost every month no matter what I do. In fact, our vaporizer of two years just gave up on us, probably from too much use. I’m actually thinking of getting a vapir portable vaporizer so we can use it when we’re out of town.

Anyway.

Last Saturday, after Avilon Zoo, we decided to check out 9 waves. To our utter disappointment, the place is too small and unbelievably jam-packed. I’m not exaggerating when I say that in order to swim, you’ll have to wait for the person beside you to finish. That’s how crowded the swimming pool was. Of course, I shouldn’t be surprised since the entrance fee is only Php25. The reason why we thought about it in the first place is because it’s so near Avilon and we badly needed to refresh ourselves after touring the zoo for more than five hours.
