Choosing your Hosting
Posted on April 10th, 2008 | by admin |I’m very happy with my web hosting. All my blogs are currently hosted in one company and I never experienced any downtime. But just because it worked for me doesn’t mean it will work with everyone. We all have different needs when it comes to online presence. The first step in choosing your hosting company is to list down all your requirements such as disk space, bandwidth, windows or UNIX platform, PHP and ASP capability plus other freebies like formmails, shopping cart, and bulletin boards. The next step is to visit websites that offer reviews and guides on choosing the best web hosting company. Kaushal Sheth, a wordpress theme designer, recently came up with his own web hosting guide. He compared and browsed through various Top 10 hosting lists, spent hours reading reviews, and discussed hosting experiences with a lot of technical people. After thorough research, he was able to narrow down his list to three companies – Webhostingpad.com, Startlogic.com, and Hostmonster.com. Check it out and see if they have what you’re looking for. The price is not bad if you consider the amount of disk space and that it can host unlimited domains.
