The Cruises

I admit there are times when I feel the same – insert scene of Tom jumping on Oprah’s sofa while shouting “I love her”. Still, I’ve always loved Tom Cruise. Remember him on Jerry Maguire? I wanted to be that woman who’d be able to tame him in the end. And Katie Holmes, well, I’ve been a fan since her Joey days at Dawson’s Creek. I couldn’t believe at first when I learned that they were going out. It was actually The Husband who asked me to guess who Katie’s latest boyfriend is. He knows how I love Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (as two individuals, not as TomKat) so he had a blast telling me the news. The thought of them together was so far fetched it took me hours of researching online if it’s true.
Katie used to dream of marrying Tom Cruise when she was a child. Now, her dreams came true. This made me think that if I dream harder that I will meet Gong Yoo, I’d probably will, someday. LOL. NOT. So yes, I’m rooting for them. I try not to think about Katie’s spaced out face whenever she talks about how she loves Tom or Tom’s constant need to publicize everything. I just tell myself that it’s because this was the first time that he felt something so strong so he can’t control himself. Okay I could be kidding myself but I don’t really care.
I’ve seen several paparazzi photos of the three of them looking like any normal family. Tom in his cap and jeans, Katie in a sweatshirt and designer glasses, and Suri wearing cutesy, normal looking outfits which probably costs $3,000. And have you seen their house? Their chandeliers alone must have cost a nice four bedroom house.
Is Tom taller than Katie here?

They could be acting, I don’t know. For the sake of the lovely Suri, I do hope that whatever they have is real. Katie has never been this fabulous, btw.

I must say the Oprah incident made me think twice about Tom. I really love him from Top Gun days pa, as in. Like you love GY now with all those magazines and stuff. I threw them when I outgrew that stage but still loved him until the Oprah show. Same kainis factor when Aga Muhlach cried buckets during his wedding, parang acting. I said, “Ay naku, actors nga naman!”
With Katie, I love her too sa Dawson’s Creek, that boyish style pero super lady like, I like that tapos her style pa is amazing.
Ngayon when I look at them, ang swerte naman ni Tom kay Katie… Young and fresh… They really look good together, baliw lang talaga siguro sila sa pag-ibig!

Did Aga really cry? I didn’t see their wedding eh. Come to think of it, Aga marrying Charlene was also a big surprise to me.
