I love Buy.com. Almost anything that you need to buy is there. It’s like Amazon in so many ways, only it has more amazing deals and out-of-this-world prices. Business-wise, whoever it is that bought the domain Buy.com is a genius. I’m sure if they have to re-sell it, it’d probably worth millions and more.
Anyway, what I really like about this site is the feeling that you’re shopping in a huge department store, only much better and easier because you have total control with a couple of clicks. Just like when you shop in a real store, you find the section where you want to shop first. I’m sure all moms will agree that we never fail to step inside the baby’s department whenever we go to the mall. And since I’m shopping for a friend who’s giving birth in 3 months, I jumped straight to Buy.com’s baby section.
The main page alone will send you panicking (in a nice way!) because there are so many categories that you can shop from – baby furniture, strollers, beddings and blankets, baby gear, activity toys, and many many more. Did I mention that almost all of them are either on sale or offers free shipping? If you get too overwhelmed just selecting a category, you might want to consider shopping for Brands, by Age, by Gender or just type what you need in the search box to get it over with. As for me, the search process is as equally exciting as the purchase.
With that said, here are my options for diaper bags. I’m having trouble choosing for my friend because they all look so adorable. However, since her idea of diaper bag is limited to colorful prints of ducks or anything baby-ish, I’m sure she’ll go over the moon when she sees these.
