Can you tell I’m going overboard doing some online shopping lately? Well, I think I deserve it after working so hard. Besides, a long time client sent me $100 gift for my birthday so I’m thinking it’s just fair to treat myself. Anyway, what I’m planning to get is not really for me but for Sandy. We still haven’t found the perfect birthday gift for her (aside from the wooden playhouse) and if you know us personally, we prefer to give her two or three gifts every occasion. She’s the reason why we’re working hard anyway so why not splurge while she’s still a “baby” and can’t possibly be spoiled yet (according to baby books). I’m checking at the featured toys at Buy.com to get some ideas but she seems to have all of them already, or at least similar to the toys being sold. We’re not rich, we’re just very resourceful so whatever toy that she seems to fancy, I make sure to find a cheaper version before buying anything. This is also the reason why I go to Buy.com. Almost all of the items on sale are either discounted or have the lowest price compared to other stores. I found a Dora Play House tent for only $48 which I’m sure she will love to bits. I’m considering it because she just loves anything that resembles a house. But we can’t afford a real playhouse and even if I can, we don’t have space for it. Aside from the tent, other options are V. Smile TV Learning System, Write ‘N Learn Smartboard, or a Disney Princess bike.
