The hosting company where I host all my sites just increased their rates. I don’t think I can afford it anymore since I’m paying 6 hosting packages a year. I haven’t had any experience with multiple domains hosting so before I jump to a new hosting, I know I have to do my homework and read on web hosting articles first.
According to webhostrating.com, multiple domain hosting is a logical choice when you want to save money. However, hosting your sites in separate web hosts will give them different IP addresses, which is very important when you want your sites to be search engine friendly. This reminds me of my client who had to move some of his domains to different hosts because he’s being penalized by search engines. This is not a problem for me because my sites are just for personal use.
I really like the web hosting tutorials and articles from the webhostrating site. The article about reseller hosting gave me an idea of something that I can do in the future if I want to earn more money. With so many bloggers who want to move to their own domains, hosting packages are selling like pancakes. It’s just a matter of deciding whether I should go for Windows or Linux Web Hosting, plan the support system and of course, come up with a great pricing scheme. For now, I need to make a decision because the hosting for my other blog will be expiring next month.
