His eldest daughter is entering medical school and he’s hoping that she will get accepted on her top choices. He told me how hard it is to get in on the top universities even if you have high GPAs and MCAT scores. According to his daughter, her admission essay is one of the things that can help her make or break it. Both he and her daughter are on the edge of their seats as they wait for the letter that will seal her daughter’s future.
I suddenly remembered this website that offers writing of medical school admission essay for those who are unsure if their essays can get them in. The services includes complete writing service (rush, regular) and essay analysis and revision if you already have completed an essay. I think this is a great service considering only 7% of highly qualified applicants are being accepted in medical schools each year. I’ve read some of the samples and one thing I liked about them is that they sounded real. If I were the one doing the essay reviews, I would’ve accepted all the letters immediately. When I went to College, we didn’t have to write an essay. It’s too bad really because I would’ve poured my whole heart in it.
