On Surround Sound

The Husband is getting all worked up this morning because his home theater set up is not working. We found out that one of the speakers is broken so he’s now thinking of upgrading the whole thing. He’s now in front of his laptop browsing for best home theater speakers with me on the side, urging him to find the cheapest. I learned that in order to find the right surround sound speaker, you have to ask yourself if you will use it for movies or music listening. Where you will place it is also important too - on the walls or on tables? I told him we don’t have to upgrade everything, perhaps buy those two or three-piece set ups instead. They can get pretty expensive but he’s convinced that we can do so much better with a new one. I only stopped bugging him when he promised that he will not buy something that’s more than the allotted budget.
