I Want A New LCD Monitor
Posted on August 26th, 2008 | by dzoi |I just can’t stop raving about Buy.com’s weekly deals. All their items that are on sale are just too good to resist, regardless if they are refurbished or brand new. Most of them I wouldn’t be able to afford at a normal price. And they get updated every week too so you’ll have lots of choices whether you’re looking for a video game, an MP3 player, a new laptop or a computer accessory.
Last week, I saw a great deal for a Samsung 21.6″ Widescreen LCD monitor. I’ve been looking to replace my 17″ ViewSonic monitor but haven’t found a buyer who’s willing to shell out more than $150 for it. I bought it for more than $300 two years ago and now, I can’t believe I can buy a 21″ version for the same price. I’d be lucky if I get at least $100 for my old LCD so I guess my best option is just give it to my husband. That way, I won’t feel like I’ve been robbed for selling it too low since The Husband will benefit from it.
Anyway, back to the Samsung LCD deal, I still can’t believe I can buy it for only $235 from Buy.com. Aside from power consumption control, I am excited to see the effect of the 8000:1 dynamic contrast ratio in my graphic designs. The customer ratings are also not bad, plenty of 5 out of 5 and a total of 4.5 stars for overall satisfaction. I can even get it lower if I have a Buy.com visa card, which I’m sure I can borrow from my client/friend in the U.S.
