Energy Saving Blinds

Sandy is having trouble taking her naps on her own because our bedroom is bathed in sunlight. We used to have a woven shade outside the window but we found out that it’s causing Sandy’s allergies so we removed it. Now I’m thinking of using Trilogy Blinds to block the light coming in the afternoons. I saw one (see photo) from Smith and Noble and liked the fact that not only they are effective in light control but it also has the energy-saving advantages of Honeycomb shades. With its insulating air pockets, it can keep a room warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

What’s great about the window treatments from Smith and Noble is that there are plenty of ways that you can customize them before finalizing your order. You can choose whether you want to mount your Blinds inside or outside the window frame, kind of fabric, cord position and many more. A wall representation is included so you while you design so you can see the options and upgrades in real time. Their photo gallery is worth checking out too just in case you need inspiration on what colors you want to use for your room.
