Maximizing Spaces

The unit is only about 40sqm big so we need to do what we can to maximize the space. After browsing for modern furniture at ConceptFurniture.net for a couple of weeks now, I realized that it’s exactly what she needs. Modern furniture or contemporary styles are more about simplicity. Less is more and in my friend’s case, the smaller the better.
For her living room, we’re choosing an L-shaped sofa to provide more seating without filling up the whole living room. With the right positioning, she’ll have no problems placing her LCD TV, bookshelves and coffee table. I told her to let go of her old knick knacks and just invest on new living room furniture. Now is not the time to go hodge podge because her space is not that big. For her bedroom however, she’s going all out for a new platform bed with matching side tables and lamps.
Now, if she can kick her boyfriend out, I’m sure she can keep the chic and modern look. But that’s another story.
