On Trying To Be a Wise Shopper
Posted on October 2nd, 2008 | by dzoi |Just received shipping confirmations via email so I’m pretty happy at this moment. Enough shopping for me though. If I continue this, I’d be very poor come Christmas. I still need to buy loads of stuff for our Boracay trip and my funds for that is running short. I have to admit it’s pretty addictive though. Are there any support groups for online shopaholics? I was so deliriously happy that it came to a point where I wasn’t even looking at the price anymore. In my defense, I was purchasing a very rare title so I’m very much willing to pay 3x its worth. I also can’t believe I checked out 25 items from Old Navy without entering the code that will take $10 off from the total plus free shipping. Arrghh. Definitely a newbie.
So just a word of advice to my fellow shoppers, be a smart buyer. You’d think you’re being wise for buying items worth $5, $10 but you’d be surprised on the final cost once you add up all your purchases. As for me, I’m totally stopping now. Not that I’ll need to apply for cash advance yet but if I don’t halt my shopping spree soon, I could see my self having financial counseling :P.
