Don’t you just love the BER months? Aside from the low electricity bill (weather too cold for A/C), it means more money from Christmas bonus, 13th, 14th, 15th month pays. And what do you do with all these extra money? Share it with your loved ones and friends of course. Every year, I put aside a special budget for Christmas gifts alone. We give gifts to almost everyone we know even if it’s just a little token. That includes co-workers, kids of our co-workers/friends, kids of our helpers, the guards from the village, and anyone else who helped make our lives easier the entire year.
Anyway, I’m helping out my mother-in-law shop for gifts for her employees. She believes I’m an expert in gift hunting because she always sees me buying cheap and unique gifts for all occasions. I told her she can buy almost anything online as long as she knows where to look. For example, these Holiday Gift Baskets from the Wine Country Gift Baskets company are great for our relatives overseas. In fact, I’m planning to get this Taste of Italy for my long time client/friend. The basket includes Colavita extra virgin olive oil, bread dipping herbs, dipping bowl, olives, asiago cheese spread and many more. I can get it for only $29.95 plus a shipping fee of $8.95. Not bad at all considering all the projects that I’ve been receiving from my client for the last five years.
