I feel like I’ve been working non-stop lately. Some people thinks I’m a workaholic and even though The Husband doesn’t say anything, I know when he wants to say "stop working and get some rest". He has that look especially when it’s already 9:30PM. But I’m not a workaholic. I do love what I’m doing but I want to rest and enjoy too. To sit back and watch my favorite TV shows or just chat with Sandy about her day. It’s not an option, though. At least, not yet. There’s a recession going on everywhere in the US and aside from wanting to prove to my company that I’m worth my salary, I also need to put on extra work because there are only a couple of us left. And yes, I do get this natural high whenever I can solve something that was just seem impossible at first.
On weekends, I don’t really rest at all. I still work on my sidelines but I spend more time with Sandy and The Husband if I can. You probably think that I’m addicted to money with the way I’m working. That’s just the way I am when I have a goal in mind. And that is to have a house this year, by hook or by crook. Nothing can stop me until I get it.
Besides, my mind wouldn’t let me rest if I want to. Even at night, I still read ebooks from my phone just to cool down. The next thing I know, it’s 1:30AM and I only have four hours left to sleep.
So yeah, aside from work, I’m still terribly busy. But I do update my blogs so keep on hopping!
