Call it too late but may I just say how I love “Mama Mia!” the movie? With the help of my brother-in-law’s PSP, I was able to watch this movie without interruptions. And even if Sandy interrupts, it’s because she wants to watch it with me. It’s about her beloved ABBA after all. Aside from Meryl Streep’s great acting, I liked this movie because of the songs. I’m not much of an ABBA fan, but ever since my darling little girl started getting addicted to their album, I can’t help but smile whenever any of the casts sings their songs.
I loved Sophie’s (Amanda Seyfried) character too and her very sweet voice. I can’t help but think about Sandy growing up and how I want for us to be best friends still. Tanya’s solo dance was a scene stealer too and I was glad to see Christine Baranski play something else aside being a villain. And did I mention the men? Pierce was absolutely gorgeous in his dark polo shirt and white pants, Sky (fiance) was hot and the greek men were just so sexy! I wonder if that’s really the case in Greece? My sister-in-law told me it’s true
. The girls were equally gorgeous and probably never needed microdermabrasion their whole lives. Lastly, even if the characters were horrific, the place alone was like heaven. I’d definitely want to go there someday with The Husband for our 15th year honeymoon. 15th year because I can’t imagine being able to afford it in the next five years or so.
