The Notebook – 365 Letters

Just watched this for the Nth time last night and it still left me weeping. Let me share with you now my favorite scene. If you haven’t seen the movie, this scene was from when Allie (rich girl) came back to visit Noah (poor boy) after seeing his photo in the newspaper. She’s about to get married and had no business going back but she did.

This is the first time that they’re going to talk and see each other after seven years of separation. The night before Allie left, they had a huge fight and they weren’t able to say goodbye to each other. Allie waited for Noah’s letters to come for years. Noah did write, one letter a day for one whole year but Allie’s mom hid all the letters. So she moved on with her life, not knowing that Noah was pining away for her as well. It didn’t help that her fiance is such a hottie and a very good guy too.

Anyway, Allie thought she’d just say goodbye to her past but after watching this clip, you’d know that it’s sooo NOT over!
