I went to Serendra last Friday for the MBAP meet up. Some of them didn’t make it because of work and family obligations. But the six who came still managed to be loud enough that one of the customers at Contis had to complain. To be honest, I didn’t think we were that loud. They were complaining that their baby (more like a kid) was sleeping and my first thought was, you’re in a public restaurant people, deal with it. I’m a mother and I don’t expect other people in public places to put a lid on it when my baby needs to sleep. Plus I could hear every conversation around us from mass layoffs to Mesothelioma lawyers to unmentionable diseases so I’m pretty sure we’re not the only ones who were loud.
Anyway, I was so late because of the damn traffic so I was ravenous when I arrived. I haven’t tried Contis before so I was glad we went there. I ordered Chicken Roulade after studying the menu for ten minutes. It was very good but I was really hungry so I wasn’t able to take photos of what everyone ate. I know they had cakes (I didn’t to my everlasting regret) so I really couldn’t say if it’s any good. Apols told us something juicy (I can’t really share) which started a long barrage of question and answers plus personal experiences on the topic at hand. I don’t think I can say more without divulging what it was about. All I can say is I can’t believe how women are all the same everywhere. Same issues and fears, rich or poor, local or international (tee-hee), drop-dead gorgeous/supermodel or simply beautiful like us bwahahaha.

We transferred to Tea and Therapy so we can talk more. Love this place too with its big comfy chairs and low lighting. Although it’s a Friday, there were only six of us inside so we turned it into our personal studio.
L-R: Apols (MBAP founder / Bitch Goddess ), Jody (the hottest wedding planner), Apple (of Yan-Ple’s party shop)
Thei (Tumbling girl / photographer), Dzoi (yours truly, my photos were taken by Thei), Mich, the hottest breastfeeding and sleep-deprived mom.
