CYMA with Friends

Yes, it’s another post about food. We just can’t help eating. In fact, here’s another one from Conti’s when we celebrated Father’s day two Sundays ago.

This meet up was scheduled last May yet when the day came, there were only four of us left. I’m not complaining because these ladies are already a hand full. I just feel bad that some weren’t able to make it because their babies were sick.

Anyway, back our lunch at CYMA. Just like the last time, it was only Aggie, Kathy, Litzie and Moi. The conversation was amazing. From Derek’s hot bod (yum! took almost an hour for this topic alone) to good food to shopping to things that couldn’t be mentioned. It was always a hoot hanging out with these girls.

Kathy said I lost weight so she’s currently my most favorite person right now. This is good news after receiving a comment from a fellow blogger on my recent weight gain. It made me want to pop diet pills immediately, seriously. Luckily, I won’t have to do anything, at least until next month when I start gaining weight again!

Spinach and Artichoke Fondue – highly recommended!!

Family style Greek salad – With mixed greens, red cabbage, tomatoes, capers, cucumber, Feta cheese, pine nuts, bow-tie pasta and black olives, served with your choice of Cyma’s Summer Herb or Traditional Greek Vinaigrette

Souvlakia Souvlaki (Greek Shish-kabobs)

pork tenderloin skewered with fresh vegetables served with warm pita bread and yogurt garlic sauce

Garides mi Feta Spaghetti- Greek Gambas pasta

Roasted shrimp with tomatoes, Feta cheese, spaghetti. served with grated Parmesan cheese.

At Cafe Breton

No we didn’t have crepes anymore. We were so full after our lunch in Cyma. We thought we’d get hungry again after window shopping in Greenbelt 5 but Derek’s photos in Yes! magazine were enough to keep us happy.
