The photo from last post is an accident waiting to happen. Sadly, three passengers without helmets is not a rare sight in the Philippines. You’ll even see fathers riding with their 3-4 year-old kids strapped behind them. In relation to this, I saw this website for a San Jose motorcycle accident attorney that talks about how juries tend to side with the automobiles during accidents. Plenty of people dislike motorcycles mainly because of the number of accidents involved around it. But according to the article, if you find the right attorney, he should be able to point out the flaws of the opposing expert. Things like “motorcycles don’t stop like cars, don’t swerve like cars, have different controls than cars, and slide on their sides, which cars rarely do.” If this is really the case, then motorbike owners should be more careful and not drive as if they’re inside a rock music video.
