Having A Baby Sister

Here’s a conversation between me and Sandy that I just had to record in writing.
Sandy: Mommy I told my teacher that I’m having a baby sister. And then she said “really? Your mom is pregnant? That’s nice!”
ME: Why did you tell her that? I’m not pregnant!
Sandy: But how are we going to have a baby brother or sister? I think the baby is inside your tummy.
ME: No, baby. Not yet. Soon maybe.
Sandy: But it’s taking so long!! How will I have a baby?
Sandy: I know, I know!! How about we buy one from the mall?
ME: Erm.. we can’t really buy babies.
Sandy: Okay. How about if we see a baby we just take them?
ME: (Talk about kidnapping bwahaha) No we can’t just take babies. (She’s probably getting frustrated because of my NOs)
Sandy: No I mean take them then just put it in a shopping cart then we’ll pay for it first.
Hay. I wish it’s that simple no?
