Our weekend was very busy. We were supposed to go swimming with Sandy’s cousin Chloe but she had colds the night before. We decided to cancel because being the over-protective mother that I am, I don’t want Sandy to be sick during Christmas season. Two of her classmates just got back from fever and colds so we can never be too sure. Plus the weather is cold anyway so the kids might find the water too cold.

Anyway, after some more Christmas shopping last Saturday, we headed to Outback Steakhouse in Glorietta to have a post-celebration of The Husband’s birthday.

These two were the only ones that Sandy ate but she loved every bit.

Potato mushroom soup

Cobb salad – Grilled chicken salad served on a bed of garden fresh greens with fresh grated Jack and cheddar cheeses, diced smoked ham, chopped with egg and diced tomato. Loved how you can have all kinds of dressing for this.

Chicken marsala – the servings are huge we had to take some home. Still taste good after 3 hours.

Steak and Lobster – forgot what it’s called but they are very good. Not too crazy about the mashed potatoes but loved the assorted mushrooms and bell peppers.
