After shopping for urban clothes, The Husband, Sandy and I met with friends last Sunday for an early dinner. After some non-stop ribbing, Honey finally gave in and treated us to a feast at CYMA. At first, I wasn’t really happy that they don’t have my favorites – artichoke spinach dip and stuffed zucchini flowers. However, it gave us a reason to try out other things. All I can say is I’m loving CYMA more and more. The food never fails to pick me up. It’s never bland, always filled with flavors and most important of all, very affordable. Without further ado – here are the photos. I’m craving for them now actually.

Pikilia – Mezedes Combination; Sampling of 5 dips

Roka Salata (Cyma Original) – Fresh arugula, chopped Romaine lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, candied walnuts, served with shaved Parmesan in traditional Greek vinaigrette

Mixed Meat Gyros – Marinated pork and beef with tomatoes, red onions, Tzatziki and pita

Giant Shrimp with Dill and Ouzo – In tomato cream sauce served with your choice of rice-stuffed peppers or Greek roasted potatoes

Pastitsio – Baked Macaroni – Layered macaroni and savory meat sauce topped with Greek Bechamel
Last but not the least -

Glyka Sampler – Traditional Greek dessert platter ( Baklava – Layered phyllo with walnuts and orange honey syrup , Pagoto (Ice Cream) Cyma’s Cheesecake Sorbet, Pistachio Ice Cream, Galaktoboureko – Creamy semolina custard in phyllo with orange and lemon zest syrup, Ryzogalo – Traditional creamy rice pudding dusted with cocoa powder )
