Sleepless nights have never been this hard. Or maybe it’s because I’ve spent a year sleeping without worrying if I’ll be waking up in a few minutes. I think I can sleep anywhere now. On a hard bench, a waiting chair at the hospital, the grocery, in front of my laptop or a restaurant table. That’s how I would kill for a few minutes of sleep. When Meg is finally asleep though, sleep eludes me. Not that I can take over the counter sleep aids but I wish there’s an on and off button that I can use so I can easily revert from sleep and wake up mode. And while we’re at it, add a fussy/cranky on and off button as well so the parents can enjoy some quiet time.
