I was very excited and had my hopes up (mainly because we were starving) so I was a little disappointed that the dishes were too small (I know it’s just a sampler but I was hungry!), some are cold while the others can be skipped altogether. Still, for the price we paid, I could say it’s still very good. We loved the goat cheese and truffle mousse so much we ordered a regular size because the sampler barely reached my throat.

Let’s start with the easiest.

Spend my food voucher for The Establishment or move it next week. I’ve been wanting to try their degustation of 14 dishes but since I am still recuperating from a bad cough, I doubht if my senses are on top shape. Why waste a good dining experience if you can barely taste a salty dish which was served by my nanny this afternoon.

Medium to big – my boss’ partner is urging me to join his company. I can’t say more because who knows who’s reading this post. I just wish I didn’t have to choose and more importantly, that I’m not exactly torn.

Lastly, we may or may have to find a way to migrate to another country. We are very happy where we are right now. Financially, it could be improves but we are comfortable and our friends are just phone calls and text messages away. But what will happen after 10 or 20 years? When our kids are finding a hard time to find good jobs just because our country’s economy have been continuously getting worse. The husband and I are good, it’s the kids who are the deciding factor.

I do get odd jobs like this which is fun because they don’t seem like work at all. I was even asked once to purchase a wig and then have it delivered to a specific address. You’re probably wondering why my clients can’t do this themselves. The answer is they simply just don’t have the time. But they do have the money to buy and to hire someone who can do it for them. For that, I am thankful because these odd jobs help me save a lot of money and where I get my shopping funds from time to time ,

Last Saturday, we met with our long-time friend Teresa for brunch. She only comes home once a year so I was pretty excited to see her and her son, Nico. The gang was almost complete too, with their kids in tow. However, the husband and I decided not to bring our kids since Meg was still recuperating from roseola and we didn’t want Sandy to get sick as well.
