Here’s how to manage money the wrong way: don’t think about it. Assume that you have enough in your bank account to last you for a good long while. Hope that there’s enough on your debit card to afford whatever it is that you’re about to buy, and pray you don’t get over drafted. Repeat “I’ll pay for this later” as often as humanly possible.

However, if you want to be truly financially stable and possibly afford the new gadgets that you want to keep for yourself, here’s how to manage money the right way:

Check Your Account Every Day
Some people are afraid of checking their balance because they don’t want to know how bad it is. This is not a responsible way to live. Check your funds every day, so you can get a good handle on what you can and can’t afford.

Save Your Receipts (Digitally)
No one wants to carry slips of paper around everywhere, but since we live in a technologically-driven world, that’s no longer a requirement. If you’ve got a phone equipped with a camera, just take an image of your receipt and toss the paper. The photo will be labeled with the time and date, so you know how much you’re spending on what and how often.

Schedule Your Payments
The older you get, the more bills you have to pay. Get a master list of all your monthly expenses. List how much you expect the bill to be, and when you have to pay it—or when the money is deducted from your account. This way, you can keep track of your expenses without missing a payment.

Plan for the Unexpected
As John Lennon said, life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. There’s no telling what you might find yourself suddenly facing, but it helps to start saving now. Tuck a small percentage of each paycheck away in an interest-generating savings account to help you out when there’s an unexpected emergency.

Explore Your Options
If the unexpected does happen, and you find yourself short on cash, check with your bank or lending companies to see what your options are. You may be able to use a service like Great Plains Lending online installment loans to loan you cash that you can pay back on the schedule best suited for you.

The Golden Rule
If everyone follows this piece of advice, they could avoid another recession: don’t buy what you can’t afford. If you’ve been stressed out for a while and need to treat yourself to something to keep yourself sane, go for it. However, if you just really want that 3D TV or the latest iPad or Macbook, and you’ve already taken out a second mortgage on your house, give it a little more thought.

Managing money the right way involves planning, scheduling and common sense. A little extra time will be well worth it.

It is a sickening feeling, hearing that once again your car is on the fritz. With ten days before pay-day and a checkbook balance that won’t even come close to covering the repairs. You’re stuck – right? No car, no way to work…eventually that will mean no job. What choice do you have? How can you get the car fixed without bouncing a check? The answer is simple: choose one of the many payday advance lenders that are available to help you in your time of need.

What Is a Payday Advance?

For those that are not familiar with the term, understanding what a payday advance, sometimes called a cash advance, is the first step. In the simplest terms, a cash advance is a simple loan, not based on a credit score, which must be paid back in a short period of time. The amount of the online payday loan is dependent on the amount of money you make. Payday advance lenders have few requirements for applicants to qualify. These typically include proof of employment, a checking account, and a registered phone.

How Do They Work?

Unlike traditional loans through a bank, a payday loan doesn’t need a credit check, collateral, or other information. Instead, lenders rely on a few simple checks before lending money. Because of the lack of collateral, the loans have to be paid back quickly. Lenders feel comfortable loaning out money because they typically have access to the checking account of those who borrow. In fact, many need a post-dated check or permission to withdraw money via EFT. Little risk to the lender, immediate access to funds for the borrower are the hallmarks of the cash advance process.

Finding a Lender

While there are literally thousands of payday advance lenders to choose from, they were not all created equal. When selecting your lender, keep in mind a few critical points. First, they should offer an easy process. This often means an online company. Second, take a look at the list of required documents. A no fax provider is often the easiest to work with. Finally, carefully review the terms and conditions.

A payday advance loan can be an excellent way to keep yourself afloat in the event of an emergency. Be sure you understand what a cash advance is and carefully select your lender to take advantage of this helpful financial tool. You will have little reason to worry about emergencies once you understand how they work.

Traditionally called the one-armed bandit because of the lever used to activate the machine and its low payout percentage, the slot machine has, nevertheless, been one of the most popular casino games since Charles Frey invented it in 1887. These brightly spinning wheels combine the entertainment of an arcade game with the thrill of potential gain, creating an almost irresistible attraction. Yet, many people do not want to travel outside their home and are leery about spending their hard-earned money on so fleeting a diversion. Fortunately, there is a solution: virtual slots.

To Spend or Not to Spend:

Is that ever really a question? When given the choice, most people would choose not to spend money when they don’t have to, which is why a new phenomenon is sweeping the Internet: no deposit slots. While slots has been available as a flash game for some time, it only used virtual money, which meant that half of the attraction (namely, the thrill of earning money) was not really present. However, recently, online casinos have started offering promotions that allow players that give players that sense of potential gain and don’t cost anything – at least initially.

These promotions come in a couple of different forms. For example, at the Platinum Play Online Casino, when a new player signs up they receive 1,500 free spins of the slots and then, if the player should decide that they want to continue play after their 1,500 spins are over, they will receive 200 more free spins after their first deposit.

Another promotion, at the River Belle Casino, allows players 20 minutes worth of unlimited spins. It is hard to imagine that you could use more than 1,500 spins in 20 minutes, but who knows? Maybe if you use the greatest amount lines and button mash like a fiend. In any case, just like Platinum Play, River Belle offers another bonus when the player actually does make a deposit.

Free and Easy:

Clearly then, if you’re craving those flashing lights but don’t have time to go to Las Vegas or Atlanta, or if money is an issue, online, no deposit, slots is a good way to get your fix of this exciting game without leaving your home or spending any money; just make sure to check Online for the best bonuses so you can play for as long – and earn as much – as possible!

They are not exactly nursing scrubs but similar in fabric and style. It’s what nannies and other service-oriented staff wear now because of how comfortable it is. My nurse friends hate the idea but there’s nothing they can really do about it. As for me, I wouldn’t force it on our helpers as long as they wear clean and comfortable clothes. Not those tight, stylish ones that make them appear as if they are out on a hunt for a new husband. ;P

Several decisions have to be done today. Some minor while some are just huge it can affect how financially comfortable we’ll be in the next five years.

Let’s start with the easiest.

White Egyptian Cotton Towels or bedsheet with a threadcount of 500 and up. These are the ones that fit our group’s budget for our friend who’s tying the knot. They are also currently on sale till Sunday.

Spend my food voucher for The Establishment or move it next week. I’ve been wanting to try their degustation of 14 dishes but since I am still recuperating from a bad cough, I doubht if my senses are on top shape. Why waste a good dining experience if you can barely taste a salty dish which was served by my nanny this afternoon.

Medium to big – my boss’ partner is urging me to join his company. I can’t say more because who knows who’s reading this post. I just wish I didn’t have to choose and more importantly, that I’m not exactly torn.

Lastly, we may or may have to find a way to migrate to another country. We are very happy where we are right now. Financially, it could be improves but we are comfortable and our friends are just phone calls and text messages away. But what will happen after 10 or 20 years? When our kids are finding a hard time to find good jobs just because our country’s economy have been continuously getting worse. The husband and I are good, it’s the kids who are the deciding factor.

It’s my body that can’t handle the work out. Especially when you have only an hour or two of shut eye and need to work AND take care of the kids the very next day.

I am thanking breastfeeding by the way on my successful weight loss. Not only Baby Meg is strong and healthy but the mom is also very happy that she can fit on her too skinny jeans. Bless you, golden milk. May your supply be abundant for all mothers and babies worldwide.

It’s too early for me to read about industrial bearings for a web design project. My brain will not function well until I can get a cup of hot coffee brown and a club sandwich or ham and cheese at least. I need to get used to working early now that Sandy will have to go to school at 6AM and start preparing around 5:30-5:45AM. The upside is I could get a lot of stuff done if I don’t go back to bed and start working. But as I write this, I remembered that I have an almost one year-old-toddler who have no schedule whatsoever. So wish us luck on our new schedule. God knows we need it!

The Husband is looking to buy some knee braces online. He wanted something that provides better coverage than the average brace. He hurt his knee a long time ago, back when he was a teenager if I remember correctly. The doctor told him he needed to have a minor surgery but he didn’t push through with it due to budget constraints. Which is why it scares me whenever he plays basketball. But he assured me that with the right support and as long as he’s careful (playing just for fun), he’ll be fine. Still, I think it’s time that we start saving up for the surgery so we won’t have to worry anymore. Better ask our insurance if we can get at least a discount since I know pre-existing conditions are rarely covered.

Looks like my cousin has been browsing for new diet supplements to try. We made a bet two months ago that he can lose 10 lbs the natural way – exercise and healthy eating but it seems he’s now tempted to try other alternatives. Can’t blame him, though. I wish him luck but really, if he could just skip those midnight snacks, he’d be fine.

A friend just posted some photos of her new Kohler faucets and all I could think of is when I could get to <strike>brag</strike> showcase about our own place too. As of this writing, we are not sure whether to hire contractors for our lot or buy a house and lot somewhere else. Everything changed when we decided where to send Sandy to school. The farthest that we were willing to go in Paranaque was up to Better Living only. But now that her future school is in BF Homes, we are also looking at properties in Sucat and BF. I do wish I have 5M-6M in cash so I can just buy what we want. I’ve been window shopping again for properties and I just cry whenever I see a beautifully designed house that I know we wouldn’t be able to afford, not unless we totally skip luxuries such as travels, shopping and eating out.
