Franco’s Choice – 450 grams topped with panseared foie gras. It’s huge I’m telling you. They sliced it in the middle so it doesn’t look as thick and I shared it with The Husband. I didn’t finish mine but he finished his, fat and all. No surprise there. I fell in love with the foie gras so I’m going to be on the lookout for that the next time we eat somewhere nice.

Most of us found each other because we all have one thing in common – babies. We need help on colicky babies, continuous breastfeeding, giving medicines, tips on the best baby brands, choosing a nanny, pedia recommendation and many more. But eventually, we find people that we really like not just because we’re both mothers, but because we started seeing another side of that person that we wouldn’t mind being friends with them offline.

But back to my friend’s question, here’s a list of topics that we usually talk about whether we’re chatting online or having coffee in the mall.

Things have been pretty hectic for the last couple of days but I’m trying to get my groove back, blogging-wise. Aside from projects pouring in left and right (thank God for that), we’re busy with offline life as well. I can’t believe how many bills we need to pay monthly and that we’re even considering getting guaranteed issue life insurance for me. I’ve heard of bill consolidation from one of our local banks but I’ll have to research about it some more. All I know is that it’s going to be a huge relief to just settle one payment a month no matter how big the amount.

Bazaars, The Ramp at Glorietta (great finds at cheap prices), Greenbelt 2 (mostly browsing for art stuff, rare books and expensive accessories)

6. My daughters tried out for the school musical last night. Were you ever in a school play/musical? Which one?
I have always been a performer but the part that I remember the most was The Witch from Rapunzel. I was in first grade and was chosen because I had a shrilly voice.

7. I read yesterday that a school PTA group wants to try to ban white bread, cakes, brownies or any other “treat” from their lunch menus… plus make kids’ lunchboxes brought from home not include any “junk food”. Thoughts on that one?
Oh my, what will my daughter bring to school? BWAHAHAHA. Seriously, she rarely eats bread and cookies. Perhaps I can have her bring rice meals instead.

8. How many people can your kitchen table seat?
8 people plus a high chair for the little one.

9. What time is it right now?
11AM. Half the day has passed already.

10. Walk out the front door of your house/apartment, turn right, walk 2 blocks. What do you see?

Surely it wouldn’t sound expensive if I total all the trips to Starbucks for the last couple of years?  I’m a coffee addict, there’s no doubt about that. As of this time, I had 3 and a half cups and on my way to fourth. I wish I can say I would love to have an alternative that will keep me awake for hours but I doubt it wouldn’t be as satisfying. I prefer it hot too. Not those cold frappuccinos that doesn’t do anything but taste sweet.
